From the Presidents Desk

The Louisiana State Championship just finished with 93 players participating. with only 6 rounds this year, there was a 5 way tie for first place and the championship title. it looks to me as though Nick Matta wins the 2022 State Title on tie breaks. GraTz Nick!!!  Lafayette had 2 players who entered with John Tilley scoring 3 out of 6 and Andrew Broussard score 2 1/2 out of 6. Gratz to all who played.

OK the Lafayette Open is October 8 and 9... 5 rd swiss. details in the website. who will be this years champion?

Friday club meetings has been going strong with lots of games.Saturday 9/10/22 club tournament @Sidewinders Oil off Commision Blvd.
