Beau Phillips Wins 1800 & Under Division Houston Chess Festival

Lafayette Chess Club member Beau Phillips wins the 1800 & Under Championship at the Houston Chess Festival Tournament July 22 thru July 24.

This is Beau's second win in a major Houston Chess Tournament having won the 1800 & under division in the Lone Star Open Tournament back in March.

Beau is one of our newest members and greatly contributes to our club activities.
